Alsace: Between Wine & War

Alsace is one of the most fought over areas in all of Europe. Wars have been literally won and lost in this region, which was French then German and then French again. Here, in the cool climate with the Vosges Mountains in the backdrop, beautiful white wines and Pinot Noir are crafted. Home to a unique mineral driven Riesling that will age gracefully for decades and sumptuous and round Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer, this is a region that needs to be more on all of our radars!
